Paint Still life this Spring

If you’ve ever wanted to paint a vase of flowers, a bowl of fruit, a stack of books or the things on your kitchen table, here’s your chance to discover the basics of painting from life in a relaxed, fun environment.

ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED. NO SET-UP, NO CLEAN-UP

3 HOURS OF CREATIVE THERAPY SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE

DO YOUR OWN THING OR BE GUIDED TO IMPROVING YOUR PAINTING SKILL

Imagine a fully-equipped, working artist’s studio packed full of beautiful Spring blooms just waiting to be painted!

And better still, you don’t need to buy materials, set up or clean up when you’re finished. Just enjoy 3 blissful hours of creative escape.

When you arrive, you’ll find my big tables absolutely laden with stunning floral vignettes. Walk around to find the vantage point you like and claim your spot.

If you want to do your own thing, you can sit down and get started straight away. (You’re welcome to bring your own materials too.)

If you’d like some guidance, I’ll show you how I work from start to finish and offer some processes to help you develop your painting skill.

I think the best paintings happen when the focus is on the process and not the outcome, so that’s what these sessions are about.

“I really liked your teaching style and feel like there is much to learn. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful space and talent and knowledge with me.” Casey

Be inspired!

Expect to find beauty everywhere when you walk in! My goal is provide you with wonderful inspiration that will make you want to grab your brushes

Develop your painting skill

I’ll guide you from start to finish, with practices to engage you in observation and understand the basics of composition, colour, tone and mark making.

Overcome obstacles

You’ll be encouraged to translate inspiration spontaneously (helping overcoming blocks like overthinking or fear of making a mistake)

Build confidence

You’ll have the freedom to experiment and make a mess, so you can fully explore your creativity and the process of making

Enjoy the process

Setting aside some time to play, experiment and appreciate life’s beauty is good for you! These sessions are as much about getting value from the process of making as the finished product.
